Today is 11 July 2013. I had a
critical reading class with Dr. Usa Noytim. I studied about The
Age of Immigrant in the old sheet. We learnt about how to fine the main ideas
by saw the first sentences of each paragraph and don’t forgot to use the
hypothesis. She asked us what was the immigrant or immigration and do exercise
together. The first exercise was getting the first idea about the article,
second was main idea check and the last exercise was about vocabulary. Finally
she assigned the homework to find immigrant of each country and discuss in your
group about important topic of immigration. I think this lesson so difficult,
but it made me to understand when we need to find the main idea in the passage.
